John's Physics Lab

Hello!
My name is John Wang, and I am glad to see you here! This is the website of my physics lab, where I post the results of my physics lab settled in my home. The purpose of this lab is to explore the principles of physics using common materials so that people who don't have much access to advanced equipment can still play with physics.
My Story
Nearly everybody wanted to become a scientist when they were small; I am no exception. Even though I know what I will become in the future, I have no idea what kind of scientist I want to be -- will I be a chemist who explores the reactions happening on an incredibly small scale? Or will I be a biologist who takes insight into our body and the structure of life? The answer, to me, is in a book named What If. The author explores some of the weirdest physics questions in the world and gives an answer using rigorous scientific calculations, which have affected me as a child. I want to become somebody like him who can apply abstract physics equations to daily life to fulfill people's imaginations of how things will behave in extreme or strange conditions and whose words can inspire others to explore the beauty of physics. This lab is my first step towards the goal. I hope that people can visually see those abstract physics principles and equations; I hope they can try these experiments themselves to feel how nice it feels when calculation results and expectations meet each other.
